"Abby & Bellaarya"
This is 21 year-old Arabian mare, Abby and her 3 day-old filly Bellaarya. In addition
to producing 4 beautiful fillies she has been a dressage horse, trail horse and
has done some limited distance rides. She has always been a playful, kind, and fun
horse to have around with a calm and steady disposition. She loves kids and willingly
packs around our children. All of my horses are direct descendents of hers. She
loves to share my lunch when we are on a ride and will eat just about anything that
I eat. Watching her play out in the pasture makes my heart sing!

"Denali"
This is Denali, a 12 year-old breeding stock Paint. We started with English riding
when I first got her. My trainer retired and I decided to try and go a new direction.
We both have been on quite the learning curve! I bought her solely for the way she
moved and her sweet demeanor. We started working together and now I have the best
horse in the world. She has kept me safe on many trail rides, and has never refused
a challenge. She is a wonderful companion for my two year-old son. Denali has also
won my husband's heart.

"Peppy Sand"
This is Peppy Sand, our new 4 year-old Quarter Horse and our daughter Taylor LeeAnn
who is 7. Watching these two ride together --team penning, running barrels, or just
trail riding is a thing of beauty. The two of them are a perfect fit for one another.
We were stunned that a horse so young could be so completely attuned to such a small
kid. They are amazing to watch.

"Tonka"
Tonka is a 10 year-old Draft cross who is worth his weight in gold (or should I
say mud). He is an invaluable part of our therapeutic riding program. He carries
our most challenging riders without missing a beat. His short, strong back and great
movement helps riders with disabilities achieve great posture and balance. In his
spare time, he loves mud. He will look for the best spot to roll. We decided to
buy him a turnout sheet to help our dedicated volunteers keep him clean. This picture
is the first day he had it on, and he was determined to show us all what he thought
of it. After all, Tonka trucks are great in mud.

"Willow"
This is Willow, an APHA registered 10 year-old Paint mare. She's got the looks and
the talent to go with it. I got her two years ago when the most she did was walk/trot/canter
around a ring. She didn't neck rein, and she needed a firm rein. She would buck,
crow hop, and even rear on occasion. Needless to say, she needed work but most of
all, to be understood. We worked daily, on the ground, starting with join-up. I
started her over cross rails, slowly moving up to the bigger jumps(4 feet). Throughout
the past year I've been doing a lot of western work with her, primarily barrel racing.
Roll backs with only a neck rein or no reins and just leg pressure. She no longer
bucks, crow hops or requires a tight rein (or any reins at all). She is a big girl
at 16 hands, so she will bow down for you to get on her. Willow will give you her
110% whether it be barrel racing, jumping, riding bridleless and/or bareback. We
have built up this unbelievable trust and have become one.
