"Garvan"
This is Garvan (Kylemore Kilgarvan). He is a 16.2 hand 15 year-old Irish Sport horse
born in Kilkenny, Ireland. On January 13th 2010 at 5AM Garvan was found periodically
thrashing, and at times almost unconscious in his stall. Without hesitation I rushed
Garvan to the Equine hospital in Saratoga, NY where it took 6 adults to pull him
out of the trailer with ropes tied to his feet and there he underwent emergency
colic surgery. It was a long and tough 7 month rehabilitation period, but through
it all Garvan had the spirit and will to live. Garvan has taught me a lot about
life and has healed me more than he will ever know. Today we ride Dressage together.
I had Santa visit Garvan, as my greatest gift is having my horse back healthy and
strong. To this day Garvan has never looked back. He truly is a very special miracle
horse.

"Jewel"
This is Jewel, she is a 15 year-old Appendix Quarter horse mare. She rides English,
mostly hunter but sometimes she does jumper classes. She is so special because she
and I have an amazing bond that is based on how much we trust each other (which
is a lot!). When I'm riding and am not sure what to do, all I have to do is ask
her and she takes over. She's my best friend and I love her so much!

"Frank"
Frank is a rescue horse, saved as a three and a half month-old. He is a PMU baby
and the unwanted byproduct of that industry. His mother was already pregnant when
I adopted him! Frank is great and is in training with my daughter Marie in dressage.
He has turned into a lovely horse. This picture was last year's Christmas picture.

"Duke & Dot"
Duke on the left and Dot on the right, are retired Amish Belgians. Their original
mates passed on and they started pulling together this past year. They are truly
gentle giants. They are both beautiful, strong, willing and magnificent animals.
I am glad to own them and it is a pleasure to work with them. I am lucky to have
them pulling for me.
