"Jack"
This is Jack, an 8 year-old National Show Horse gelding, which is an Arabian x Saddlebred
cross. I ride him Western, just for fun. He's been in a few playdays but I'm
hoping to get him down the trails in a few weeks. He's everything I've ever
wanted, definitely my dream horse. I love this boy with all my heart and from the
bond we share, I know the feeling is mutual. I've had him for 4 years and look
forward to spending the rest of his life with him. He's my everything!!!

"Catty"
Meet Catty, short for To Catty For Country. He is a
14 year-old American Quarter Horse. Catty and I ride Western and do speed shows.
He is so special to me because he was the first horse I started barrel racing and
doing speed shows on. Even though he was a cattle horse, we have come a long way
since 2006 not only with our riding but our bond between each other. Because of
him I have learned to try new things.

"Bandit"
This is Bandit! He is a 28 year-old gelding, but we are not sure what breed he is.
He does all show games but we both love barrels and poles the best! Bandit was rescued
from a kill pen after he got a rodeo injury. He then became a lesson horse for 10
years. He became the sweetest horse there, and took over the hearts of everyone.
I had been riding Bandit for lessons for a year and when it came time for them to
retire him, he was given to us. He is the best thing that ever happened to me!

"Chai T."
Meet Chai T., a 13 year-old Buckskin Paint. Two years ago, she was afraid of everything.
Putting on a fly mask, using fly spray, even walking through a barn took a lot of
time and patience with this beautiful mare. While my goal was to teach her about
confidence, apparently her goal was to teach me about patience and kindness. Two
years of lessons and training in Natural Horsemanship has been one of the biggest
joys of my life. Chai has become a wonderful companion and quite the trail horse.
And she will do just about anything for a peppermint. The hard work has paid off
for both of us. I think that she has taught me more than I have taught her. She
is such a blessing to me and my family. I think that we all need second chances.
To all of you out there putting blood, sweat, and tears into your "project" horse...
do not ever give up. It is worth the journey.

to groom him. I just talk, and he always keeps my secrets.

"Bella"
This is La Comparza, a registered Paso Fino born January 21, 1995. In May of 2011,
it was brought to my attention she was being abused. With lack of food and care,
(we call her Bella for Beautiful) she was skin and bones. Immediately I decided
to go and get her. When we got her home we did not think she would make it, but
she had a sparkle in her eye that said feed me and I will live. So, we started her
on 6 small feedings everyday. She has grown to be a handsome Paso Fino, still not
very trusting and somewhat skittish, but she picks and chooses the people she wants
to be around. We love her and we are so glad we were able to give Bella what she
needed. All in all, she is a welcomed and loved part of our family.
